New to our league or just need a refresher? Here's how to use PickleballDen, what game night looks like, how scoring works, and how the ladder is structured.

Head to the PickleballDen YouTube channel, scroll to the “Club Player” section, and watch the videos there. They cover how to check in, message friends, and install the app — and will save you a ton of confusion once the league begins.

Be there by 5:50 PM
Check-in happens at the courts when you arrive. You'll get a code there — make sure you know your PickleballDen password.
Games begin 6:00 PM sharp
If you're not checked in and ready, the app automatically removes you from that night's games.
Let your admin know
Text your group admin — or do nothing and the app will remove you from the night automatically.
Call your group admin
They'll share their number before Week 1. It's up to them whether they wait for you.
Climb your way to the top step
You'll play with 5 people per court and play 4 games a night, rotating partners and opponents. Your individual score determines your movement. Within your group there are 5 steps — reach the top to win the league.
You can only move one court up or down per week — this keeps matchups balanced and games fun. PickleballDen uses a shootout-ladder calculation to determine movement. Read the specifics →
Fully digital this year — no paper scoresheets.
- Scores are entered in the PickleballDen app only.
- If someone doesn't show, the app automatically adjusts that court's scores — no more rewriting scoresheets.
- We're still learning whether missing a week affects placement — we'll figure it out as we go.
Each group has a designated admin.
- They help with check-in, scheduling, and rule questions.
- Use the chat section in PickleballDen to ask questions or say you'll miss a week.
